The North Dakota Special Olympics

Scarf Project Has Met It's 2012 Goal!

Thank you to everyone that has sent in a scarf or scarves to the North Dakota Special Olympics Scarf Project.  After carefully looking at our original goal and considering the adjustments we had to make in our winter events due to not having enough snow (imagine that, North Dakota not having enough snow!), we lowered our goal to 700 scarves.  On Monday, January 23, we achieved that goal!  Thank you to EVERYONE that helped in making that goal a SUCCESS!

Grand Forks Polar Plunge

The Law Enforcement Torch Run Grand Forks Polar Plunge is schedule to take place Saturday,  March 3, 2012, at the Canad Inn Destination Center, 1000 South 42nd Street, Grand Forks, ND from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM or whenever all the plungers have had a chance to jump.

If you would like to participate in the Polar Plunge, click here to open and save your Polar Plunge Pledge Form.  Print that off and start collecting your pledges today!

State Team Handball Tournament

The State Team Handball Tournament was held 13 & 14 January 2012 in Valley City, North Dakota.  All divisions were very competitive and had some great action!  Congratulations to all that participated!
